Demon – The American Kestrel

• Hatched: May 2026
• Background: As North America’s smallest falcon species, the American Kestrel is a vibrant powerhouse of speed and agility. Demon joined our team after a dramatic start—he was knocked from his nest as a nestling and raised by a local wildlife rehabilitator until he was flight-ready. We adopted him to continue his lifetime journey of flying and hunting.

Barkley – The Eurasian Eagle-Owl

• Age: 10 Years Old
• Background: Barkley is a Eurasian Eagle-Owl, one of the largest owl breeds in the world. He joined our family in 2022 to heal in a calm environment after an unsuccessful pairing attempt in a breeding program. It was love at first sight, and he was proudly purchased from a fellow falconer.

Sora – The Gyr/Saker Hybrid Falcon

· Hatched:May 2017

· Background:Sora is a unique hybrid falcon combining the characteristics of arctic Gyrfalcons and North African Saker Falcons. Raised as an imprint since she was just four days old, Sora shares an incredibly close bond with her trainer and treats her as "Mom".

· Role:Over her past nine years on the team, Sora has excelled at both traditional hunting and active, professional bird abatement operations.

Virgil – The Harris's Hawk

• Age: 10 Years Old
• Background: Native to the American Southwest and South America, Harris's Hawks are renowned for their highly cooperative nature. We adopted Virgil in 2024 from the Cornell University Raptor Program after they recognized his high drive and powerful urge to hunt.
• Role: Virgil is one of our 2 Harris Hawks and we are actively working with him in the field to channel his exceptional hunting instincts into operational demonstrations.

Ruger – The Harris's Hawk

• Age: Approximately 13 Years Old
• Background: Ruger joined our family after being adopted from a fellow falconer who can no longer get out to hunt with him. We are deeply honored by the trust placed in us to welcome Ruger into our home and team.
• Role: Ruger works alongside Virgil, showcasing the tight coordination, unique social intelligence, and sharp reflexes that define cooperative raptor species.
